How can I help?

help“I thank my God every time I remember you, constantly praying with joy in every one of my prayers for all of you, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.” Philippians 1:3-5

Lutherwood Ministries is a non-profit organization committed to serving the Body of Christ through our staff, our programs, and our facilities. We are grateful for the support we receive from individuals, families, and congregations throughout the country. Without this support, Lutherwood would not exist. There are several ways you can support Lutherwood, with time, money, and our needs list.

help You can give time:
There are several ways you can donate your time to Lutherwood, as an Ambassador or as a volunteer

You can become a Lutherwood Ambassador; we need advocates as much as anything. These are people who keep Lutherwood in the minds and hearts of their church communities. We will train you in how to use your gifts to advocate on behalf of your youth and Lutherwood. An Ambassador can be anyone who believes that youth ministry is important. It’s easier than it sounds, although it does require a small amount of your time. But don’t underestimate the impact that one person can make in a congregation. We consider this an essential part of our ministry. For more information, please contact our office at 541-998-6444, or email office@lutherwood.org.

Volunteers are always welcome and needed. We rely strongly on volunteers to keep this ministry going. You can come to Lutherwood and help with a special project, come on our Work Days, or you can join CREW and volunteer for a week during this summer. For our summer long term volunteers we have an applicaiton that we ask you to comeplete. Click here for a CREW App!

You can make a doantion:
Lutherwood does not have the financial backing of a national church and we rely on the gracious hearts and gifts of families, individuals and congregations. Will you consider an investment in the faith of a young person and an investment in strenghening our Lutheran communinty by raising up leaders and committed Christians.

Are you a member of Thrivent Finanical for Lutheran? Your gifts to Lutherwood and other Lutheran Ministires can be matched through the Giving Plus Program. Each financial product owning member can give up to $600 to two different Lutheran orgainzations per calendar year. Matching money is 50 cents on the dollar. For example you can give $600 to Lutherwood and $600 to Lutheran Community Services of Oregon. Each ministry receives $300 in matching gift from Thrivent. Volunteers can have even more matched. For more information, click to go to the Thrivent Giving Plus webpage or contact Tyler Wagner at Lutherwood.
